In order to be eligible to receive an Associate of Arts or the Associate of Sciences degree, a student must:

  1. Complete a minimum of 61 credit hours including the courses listed below;
  2. Earn a grade of C or better in English 1301, Speech Communication 1311, and Math 1314;
  3. Receive a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.00 ("C");
  4. Meet all TASP requirements.
bulletStudents who plan to transfer to a four-year institution should consult an advisor of that institution to ensure that selected courses will both transfer and apply toward the intended major.
bulletVeterans and Financial Aid recipients should consult an advisor before enrolling in distance learning.
bulletStudents completing the requirements may select to receive the Associate in Arts or Associate in Sciences degree title.
